0 francs.

A week in Switzerland, everything paid in bitcoin, from February 3 to 8, 2025. Six days, one Tesla, about 1,500 km. Scroll: the road moves forward and every payment prints on the receipt, refusals included. The quotes come from the video (filmed in French), the amounts from my wallet.

You told me about cryptocurrency. But what would I use cryptocurrency for?

    The statue I couldn’t find.

I walked all around the park without seeing it. Of course: it’s made to disappear when you look at it head-on, like Satoshi.

A work by Valentina Picozzi, unveiled at the Plan B Forum in October 2024. Stolen in August 2025, found in pieces in Lake Lugano. A tribute drawing, not a reproduction.

The tally, at the end of the week

    17 bitcoin payments.
    2 refusals, 1 not tried, 0 francs.

Charging the Tesla? Free, courtesy of Tesla. Everything else went through my wallet: over Lightning, except two on-chain payments at the farm.

    780,458sats spent in six days
    ≈ 687CHF at February 2025 prices

Plus 16,481 sats in network fees, almost all for the two on-chain payments at the farm. February price: about CHF 88,000 per bitcoin, based on the two invoices issued in francs (Weesen and Oberiberg). Today’s price: mempool.space. Amounts: the export from my Wallet of Satoshi wallet.

Battery: 85, 87, 65, 83, 71 and 70% are said in the video. In between, it’s estimated from the road’s elevation profile, for a 2025 Model Y Long Range (about 75 kWh usable), with the charging stops I remember.

Yeah, that sounds interesting. Thanks for the explanations.
